Boston metal band Revocation have a busy summer planned, with both a new self-titled album out on Relapse Records August 6 (the follow-up to 2011’s acclaimed Chaos Of Forms) and a sweet slot on the Summer Slaughter Tour 2013 with the Dillinger Escape Plan, Animals As Leaders, Norma Jean, and others.
Before they hit the road next week, Revocation are shooting a music video this Saturday at Great Scott in Allston, and they want all their beautiful friends to be in it. They’ll be performing a full set while filming, joined on the bill by fellow Boston heavyweights Acaro and Sexcrement, so this is a regular old-fashioned rock and roll show and not some stuffy-ass wait-all-day-in-a-warehouse-while-the-band-plays-the-same-song-for-six-hours kinda deal. Even better? The fucking cover is just $2 (yeah, two bucks) which is to pay for the door guys and sound technician. Venue overhead, sorted.
So for what it costs to tip the bartender twice for two PBRs you can not only witness one of the best metal bands in Boston, but also be in the video and impress your never-impressed girlfriend when the shit hits youtube.
