MGMT, M.I.A., Slayer and a billion other bands to play Fun Fun Fun Fest in November

There gonna need to add a few more funs.

Austin’s Fun Fun Fun Fest was announced this morning, and it’s one motherfucker of a festival: MGMT, Slayer, Snoop Dogg, and M.I.A. are the headliners, but the full list runs mad deep — and nearly 100-strong. Over the course of three days between November 8 to 10 at the Texas capital’s Auditorium Shores, you’ll find Simian Mobile Disco, Descendants, Quicksand, Cut Copy, Television, the Walkmen, Ice-T (who pulls double-duty with a Body Count set!), Death Grips, Deerhunter, Lupe Fiasco, Johnny Marr, the Locust, Beach Fossils, Merchandise, Small Black, Chromatics, Sparks, Little Boots, Glass Candy, Jurassic 5, Subhumans, Cloud Nothings, Ceremony, the Julie Ruin, Mac Demarco…

Whew. We’re not even halfway done, are we? Oh, there’s also comedy and skate components. But that’s a pretty great balance between metal, dance, indie, rap, whatever. Something for everyone!

Check out the full lineup below. Individual day/night schedules will be released in September, and three-day passes are on-sale now for a pretty reasonable $179. Single-day passes open up on September 5.

Get ur asses on Kayak (flights for under $300 from Boston are available now) or start figuring out ways to get to Austin this fall.
