The Devil’s Twins announce new LP ‘Old Fashioned Mischief’ with bone-shaking teaser clip

It’s not even August 1 yet, and we’re already kinda over the summer. It’s too hot, Boston feels empty, and another sure-to-be-amazing New England autumn is on the way. While there’s no such thing as a seasonal band, Boston trio the Devil’s Twins sure do make us think of the best days of September, October, and November, and true to form, their sophomore record Old Fashioned Mischief is set to arrive sometime this fall.

The crooked rock and roll band with the power to make skeletons dance on shallow graves teased the record last week with a new preview trailer (see above) and announced that the first single, “Love & War” drops August 2 complete with music video directed by Adio Ash of New-York-based Impaired Films.

And while we’re at it, check out the bass-less band’s debut LP, last year’s Handsome Devils. I featured one of the songs, “What’s With The Blood On Your Shirt?”, on my final Boston Phoenix (RIP) Halloween mixtape.
