More than 60 acts tabbed to play September’s 4th annual New England Americana Festival

The 4th annual New England Americana Festival is returning to Harvard Square next month, and they’re bringing a whole lotta bands with them, including Cask Mouse, Roy Sludge, and Girls, Guns & Glory. Things go down September 27 to 29 over three venues — Club Passim, Charlie’s Kitchen, and the site of the original House of Blues, Tommy Doyle’s — as well as a free outdoor stage both weekend afternoons at Winthrop Park and Brattle Plaza and live music inside hat shop Goorin Bros.

UPDATE 3:12pm EST: We’re hearing word that the Charlie’s Kitchen portion of NEAF might be moved over to Tasty Burger’s downstairs space; we’ll keep you posted. (Mmmmmmm, Tasty Burger)

In addition to the trio above, this year’s NEAF features performances by Mallett Brothers, Whiskey Boys, Chasing Blue, North of Nashville, Jeff Byrd, Whiskey Kill, Patrick Coman, Rick Berlin, Fiddlin Quinn, Highway Ghosts, Tallahassee, Three Day Threshold, Moonshine Ramblers, OldJack, Comanchero, Sam Otis Hill, Dennis, John Colvert, Susan Cattaneo, Brian McKenzie, Jenee Halstead, Tigerman Woah!, Dietrich Stauss, Bean Pickers, Michelle Lewis, Dan Blakeslee, Erin Harpe and Delta Swingers, Eva Walsh, Coyote Kolb, Kieran Ridge Band, Brandon Mastrangelo of Larcenist, Sarah Blacker, Ryan Fitzsimmons, Eric Royer, Brian Carroll, Sam Reid, Hayride, Tony Savarino and the Savtones, Danielle Miraglia, Waiting for Neil, David Gallagher, Mark Whitaker, The Field Effect, Casey Abrams, Tad Overbaugh, Sean Morceau, Liz Frame and the Kickers, Brendan Hogan, Black Marmot, Cold Chocolate, Hayley Jane and the Primates, Ian Fitzgerald, and more. Whew.

For the Friday and Saturday night shows at Club Passim, Tommy Doyle’s, and Charlie’s Kitchen, doors are at 6pm and badges to enter all venues are priced at $15 advance and $18 at the door. There are two-day indoor passes are available for $28.

For the Saturday and Sunday afternoon slates at Winthrop Park, Brattle Square, and Goorin Bros., music is free all day and runs from noon to 8pm.
