Arcade Fire release two videos for new single ‘Reflektor,’ capped by an Anton Corbijn noir

Oh, Arcade Fire, you simply DGAF. While the world has been set in its single-video ways ever since the radio star got murdered in the early 80s, the Montreal indie rock hustlers dropped a video deuce today for vibey new single “Reflektor.”

First, this morning, Video 1 arrives in the shape of an interactive experience via justareflektor.com (hey! there you are!) that was produced by longtime Arcade Fire collaborator Vincent Morisset and filmed in Haiti. Now comes the more traditional, real-deal Holyfield clip in the shape of an Anton Corbijn-directed black and white saga.

The seven-minute epic gives Corbijn the perfect canvas to stretch out this disco-ball noir, big heads and all, and the electronic-leaning song, which features backing vocals from David Bowie, is a nice soundtrack to the crusade.

This clip could be 14 minutes and it’d still fly by.

Arcade Fire’s new record Reflektor is out October 29 on Merge.

Trick or treat, y’all.
