Alright we’ve been posting Robyn covers all day, so it’s time to hit the re-set button and get back to some good old fashioned rock and roll. Now that Jed Gottlieb’s man spooge has dried up on the band’s Soundcloud, we can finally listen to Mellow Bravo’s balls-out new EP RiPPER.

The Bravos dropped this tidy beer-crackin’ four-track dynamo earlier today, and it’s available for free download through their Soundcloud player below. With the devil inside, RiPPER is the suckerpunch follow-up to last year’s self-titled record off Small Stone Recordings, and we’re vibing out hard to the EP’s third cut, “Party.” Total show-opener piledriver jam.
And speaking of shows, Mellow Bravo might be a Boston band, but their true home is any stage that’ll welcome their brash, bluesy rock n’ brawl. Catch them in action at Tallboy’s Facial Hair Fiasco at the Middle East on October 5 — Cask Mouse, Tigerman WHOA, and Black Thai are also on the bill and there will be beard and mustache competitions throughout the night.
