Listen to Pure Bathing Culture cover Fleetwood Mac, then catch their own musical ‘Tides’ @ T.T.’s

It’s Halloween cover band season here in Boston, so even though Portland’s Pure Bathing Culture is coming to town a bit after the fact on November 5, they might still be in the mood to play their striking rendition of Fleetwood Mac’s late-’70s soft rock classic “Dreams.” And if not, then no worries, because the dream-pop duo’s show with Widowspeak at T.T. The Bear’s Place should still be one of the best of the month.

Though the band just released their latest album, Moon Tides, via Memphis Industries/Partisan Records over the summer, you could also hear its members in other recent, celebrated projects: Daniel Hindman played guitar on the Damien Jurado record, and Sarah Versprille can be heard on the Foxygen LP.

But it’s their own lush, warm soundscapes that turn the key from land to sea, and the duo are now on the road with Widowspeak after wrapping up a run with Father John Misty.

Pure Bathing Culture’s “Dreams” cover is nearly a year old, but hell, ’tis the season. Check it out below…

And let’s keep the dream theme going with a PBC original, off Moon Tides.
