Somerville live music venue Radio is having issues with its live transmission, as electrical issues have temporarily shut down the rock club.

Tonight’s Deep North album release party with the Color and Sound, Yellabird, and As The Sparrow has been cancelled, as well as the downstairs slate featuring Radiator King, Fax Holiday, Appomattox, Future Carnivores.

We’re told tomorrow’s show in the main room featuring Butterknife, Mount Peru, and Satellites Fall is also off. And last night, the Flamin’ Grooves, citing electrical problems, moved their show to Precinct nearby in Union Square.

The next scheduled show on the calendar is a week from tonight, November 22, featuring Halbe Miete Social Club.

Radio’s phone line has been disconnected, and the venue has not responded to emails asking what’s up. Our spies say there was a small electrical fire from a heating unit sometime Wednesday night or Thursday morning, and the sprinklers that were set off caused some water damage between the two floors. We’re told things should be back to normal next week.

More to come…
