Japandroids are finally getting out of the van. And off the plane. And the train. And whatever else they’ve used as transport to circle the globe a few times over the last 20 months. The Vancouver duo’s 230-date Celebration Rock tour has finally come to an end, capping off a 40-plus country run in November 10 in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Guitarist/vocalist Brian King took to Facebook tonight to thank the fans and post his band’s tour itinerary — which began March 8, 2012, in São Paulo, Brazil. Celebration Rock was released June 5, 2012 on Polyvinyl.
It’s been nine days since the ‘Droids tour ended, and we assume King and drummer/vocalist David Prowse have been asleep for the past week. And King is probably going right back to bed.
