Human boner Scott Stapp announces tour (3.31 @ Royale), releases new video that details his own prison

It’s 2013, and Scott Stapp still has issues. Sixteen years after Creed released My Own Prison, the God-complex singer is still ranting about personal struggle, he’s bringing it to Boston on March 31 when his solo tour rolls into Royale.

The Creed frontman (former? Are they still together? We’re not looking it up) has a new record out this month, Proof of Life — as if we needed any more from him — and it debuted at Number 7 on the Billboard Rock Charts. Not even the Christian ones. And a press release tells us, kinda hilariously, that “Since announcing the release of the album, Stapp’s Twitter followers more than doubled, jumping to over 101,000 in just a few weeks.”

Tickets to all of Stapp’s shows go on sale November 23 through Ticketmaster.
