For All The Good Cats: Guillermo Sexo win the band t-shirt game, headline Saturday toy drive

Band t-shirts are a bit of a lost art these days, but Vanyaland faves Guillermo Sexo have just unveiled something good enough for the Spencer’s Gifts racks of the late-’80s. Their “Meow Metal” shirt (check it via the link or down below) has gotten us pretty worked up, and not just because it features a festive kitty rolling around with a skull.

It was created by Boston artist Ian Adams and takes inspiration from one of the songs off their recent LP, Dark Spring.

Hopefully these will be for sale Saturday night, when GSexo head down to Plymouth for the Ash Gray Proclamation’s For All Good Kids, A Benefit For Toys For Tots. Also on the Cavern at the Tavern bill are the hard-workin’ Hallelujah The Hills, the Krillest band ever in Krill, and Noel Kelly of the Hush Now.

The show is free with an unwrapped gift, which means you have some leftover coin to buy this here shirt. After helping the needy kids, of course.

For more on Sexo, check out their Q&A with the show’s organizers, and peep the radio promo crafted by WFNX.com’s Mike Gioscia.
