Rebecca Black is back with the sequel to ‘Friday’ — and it’s called ‘Saturday’

Well it only took two years, but Rebecca Black finally has the follow-up to her viral 2011 pop hit “Friday.” And yes, it’s called “Saturday.”

By the time Sunday rolls around, we probably won’t give a fuck, but in the meantime, let us bask in all its “301+”-YouTube-view glory. “Saturday” is a collab with someone named Dave Days, and on first scan through the credits there is no Patrice Wilson in sight. Maybe his pedo outfit was in the wash.

Honestly, this isn’t terrible. We’re feeling the hook. And it’s better than the “Chinese Food” song or that Tay Allyn nightmare from a while back.

According to Entertainment Weekly:

“Saturday” finds Black and her entire partying-partying-yeah! crew picking up the messy pieces of a crazy Friday night fete, replete with discarded solo cups, passed-out teenagers aplenty, and a portable poker set that’s oh so askew. Soon, the kids hit the beach and throw another house party, singing their hearts out about their big weekend plans: ”This Saturday we gonna party all night/ one we will remember for the rest of our lives./This Saturday we gonna do it bigger than/ we ever have before, I don’t want this Saturday to end!/ I don’t want this Saturday to end!”

So it’s a Ke$ha clip. With ‘Becca riding a triceratops at a party.

Cool.
