Rocket Re-Loaded: Elbow announce new record, release ‘Fly Boy Blue / Lunette’ via Soup Collective short film

It’s been nearly three years since we last had new music from British indie lads Elbow, yet it feels much longer than that. This morning, the Ramsbottom quintet announced its sixth studio record, The Take Off And Landing Of Everything, out March 11 via Fiction Records/Concord Music Group, accompanied by a new six-minute single titled “Fly Boy Blue/Lunette.”

The track is accompanied by a short film by longtime visual collaborators the Soup Collective, and it’s available for your viewing pleasure up top.

The new Elbow disc, the follow-up to 2011’s Build A Rocket Boys!, was recorded at Blueprint Studios in Salford with additional sessions at Peter Gabriel’s Real World Studios in Wiltshire over the course of last year. It was produced by Craig Potter.

Here’s the Take Off And Landing Of Everything track listing…
