We were teased recently with word that Scottish electro-pop trio CHVRCHES were taking on gold-standard goth anthem “Bela Lugosi’s Dead” for the upcoming Vampire Academy soundtrack.
Now they have delivered, and this little pop ditty should make even Peter Murphy smirk. The cut, which you can sample down below via Soundcloud, is on a pretty-decent soundtrack for the upcoming teen film, which also features known cuts from Sky Ferreira, Goldfrapp, Bear in Heaven, Au Revoir, Simone, and Katy Perry.
The soundtrack is out February 4 via Universal, and the film hits theaters on February 7.
