Watch the Colourist’s new video for ‘We Won’t Go Home’ + win passes to their show Monday @ Great Scott

The Colourist aren’t from the United Kingdom, despite what that pesky “u” in their name would lead you believe. In fact, the fast-rising modern indie band hails from Orange County, California — home of the Ducks, a few choice Real Housewives, and a whole lot of good music lately.

The glowing quartet’s self-titled debut record is out Tuesday, and to celebrate, they dropped a brand new music video for magnetic new single “We Won’t Go Home” earlier this week. We’ve been bumping the track on the daily over at Vanya Radio, so it’s great to see some appropriately-West Coast visuals to accompany the breezy guitar-pop gem.

Check out the video up top, and then enter to win two passes to see the Colourist live and in action this Monday at Great Scott in Allston. Night Terrors of 1927, who just turned many a head at SXSW, and the Wind & the Wave are also on the bill, making for one hook-filled Monday night.

All you gotta do to enter is email contests@vanyaland.com with COLOURIST in the subject line and we’ll select one winner at random Monday morning. It’s as easy as an Orange County morning, and now you have the chance to ask them why the Ducks traded Bobby Ryan (they probably don’t care about that).

Here are some Colourist tour dates in case you’re reading from outside Boston…
