Last month emo pioneers Sunny Day Real Estate unveiled, a bit surprisingly, their first new song in 14 years, titled “Lipton Witch.” It was included on a split with Circa Survive and released to commemorate Record Store Day.
This month, Sunny Day Real Estate are celebrating the 20th anniversary of landmark record Diary, which was released on May 10, 1994, and yesterday posted a four-track demo of seminal track “In Circles.” Jeremy Enigk uploaded the demo to his personal Soundcloud account.
Even in its infancy, it’s great to hear this song was still majestic as fuck.
