Boston Calling is right around the corner, and now the City Hall Plaza music fest is sweetening the pot for those who bought tickets to both next weekend and September’s festivals. Everyone who attends both fests will be given a limited-edition poster listing all the 2014 bands cuddled around an illustration of a friendly sperm whale.
It makes us miss that hockey team that used to play in Hartford, but also makes us love this festival even more.
“Just bring your stub or receipts to September show to redeem,” Boston Calling wrote today on Facebook. “These posters will NOT be for sale and ONLY available to fans who come to both! Spread the word.”
Check it out below. Brand New, Death Cab For Cutie (shown up top), the Decemberists, and Modest Mouse headline the May fest, while the Replacements, Lorde, the National, and Nas x the Roots head up September’s event.
Meanwhile, individual set times for next weekend’s festival will be posted Monday.
