First Drake started from the bottom. Now he’s going zero to a hundred.
The Toronto rapper dropped a new six-minute track last night titled “0 to 100/The Catch Up,” and while it won’t knock Iggy Azalea’s “Fancy” from the Song of the Summer perch, it’s a nice way to soundtrack your way up Route 2 toward Walden Pond. Just don’t speed. Go like, 0 to 45.
“0 to 100/The Catch Up” is a sweet bit of minimalist hip-hop, and features one Mr. James Blake, who is playing the Berklee Performance Center in Boston on June 10. You can download it for the nice-price of FREE via his Soundcloud.
The new cut is a teaser off his new record, expected to drop sometime early next year.
