As we first told you back in January, Boston electronic soul duo Goldbloc are one of our city’s most exciting new artists. With a few engaging live shows under their collective belt and a magnetic debut EP that’s been in constant rotation here at Vanya HQ (not to mention “Days Are Dreaming” entrenched as a regular-rotation featured track on Vanya Radio) we figured it was only a matter of time before Solei or Golden Haus establish themselves as two of Boston’s musical tastemakers.
The latter has stepped up today with his Haus of Gold: Episode I, an hour-plus of chilled-out tracks that leads off with an unreleased Goldbloc jam, “Supernova.”
The mix also features tracks from Angel Olson, Montreal’s Nick Wisdom, and a San Francisco producer named Su Na that we discovered via this playlist.
Chances are you’ll find some new shit you dig, too. But get on it — a new mix is coming in two short weeks.
