The Pretender: Watch Foo Fighters cover Van Halen and Queen last night at Firefly Music Festival

Wayne and Garth may not know what to do when in Delaware, but Dave Grohl certainly does: Cover Van Halen, Queen, Alice Cooper and others in front of 80,000 fans.

The Foo Fighters ended their headlining set at Firefly Music Festival last night (June 20) in Dover by becoming the Holy Shits, a self-described bar band that performs classic rock songs. And they delivered; check out covers of Van Halen’s “Ain’t Talkin Bout Love” and Queen’s “Under Pressure” below.

According to Alternative Nation, the Foo also ripped off covers of the Rolling Stones’ “Miss You” and Alice Cooper’s “School’s Out” before ending their 21-song set with their own hit, 1997’s “Everlong.”

The Foo Fighters’ new record is expected in November, but they didn’t play any new material last night in Dover.
