A few weeks ago Grimes revealed that she had written a song for Rihanna, only to have the dark electro-pop tune be rejected by the pop singer. The Roc Nation family member isn’t sweating it, however, and released the track, a dubstep-vibed collaboration with Blood Diamonds titled “Go,” as her own tune via Soundcloud yesterday. It’s also available for download.
“It’s our summer jam so we figured we should put it out cuz I am very bored of waiting to finish my album b4 releasing new music haha,” Grimes says.
So far, she’s feeling the positivity around the new track.
