Massachusetts guitar-rock brigade Speedy Ortiz gave us a bit of “try it before you by it” today in the way of a new song, but in order to try it you must stream it and instead of buying it you can download it. Before it becomes available to join your personal shuffle party on Monday via Adult Swim’s Singles Series, “Bigger Party” is available for your weekend streaming pleasures courtesy of the A.V. Club. In “Bigger Party,” which follows the recent Real Hair EP and the Improper Bostonian’s Album of the Year Major Arcana, frontwoman Sadie Dupuis offers up the following lyrical nugget: “I’m sorry for the time that I made out with all your friends / I’m really a shithead.”

Pitchfork reports that Speedy Ortiz will also hit the road later this year with Ex Hex, a band featuring Wild Flag and Helium’s own Mary Timony. That sweet-sounding jimjam hits Great Scott on October 30, making for a nice Halloween eve out in the autumnal wonderland of Allston.
