Done and Done: Watch Robyn and Röyksopp’s cinematic new music video for ‘Do It Again’

It’s no surprise that we’ve already declared Robyn and Röyksopp’s August 22 show at the Blue Hills Bank Pavilion our undisputed highlight of Summer 2014. Robyn could come down with gout and perform live via satellite from a hospital bed and it’d still be the biggest dance party imaginable.

We don’t anticipate that happening, however, so now that the show is a month from tomorrow (holy hell), we’re starting to get really excited.

So naturally this new music video for the Swedish collaborators’ first single, “Do It Again,” is only getting us worked up even more. A few weeks back we memorized all the words to the song via the lyric video, and now the dance-party hit gets the proper visual narrative treatment. “Do It Again” premiered today via Dazed and director Martin De Thurah gave some insight to the black and white clip.

“I worked with the idea of ‘what is our heart’s desire?’ — and I realized that no one in the world truly gets to live out their passions,” De Thurah told Dazed. “We are all under some construct, whether you’re an atheist living in Denmark or a gay person in Russia.”

And come August 22, we are all one.

Watch “Do It Again” below. On repeat.
