Do617 announces August’s Last Call party, a collaboration with Boston Emissions

Our sister site Do617.com has announced the August edition of its Last Call series today, and it’s a collaborative effort between them and local rock radio program Boston Emissions. The August 16 party — which is free with your RSVP — goes down Saturday, August 16 at Brighton Music Hall in Allston, and celebrates Boston Emissions’ five-year anniversary of broadcasting on WZLX 100.7 FM.

Summer’s not official over until we throw our next Last Call party, and for this one, we’re wrapping up the season in grand style.

Join us on August 16 at our home base of Brighton Music Hall in Allston as Do617 teams up with Boston Emissions to celebrate the rock local rock radio show’s five years of broadcasting on WZLX 100.7 FM.

Boston Emissions host Anngelle Wood curated the lineup, selecting three of her favorite current bands: alt-rock crooner Eldridge Rodriguez, lo-fi guitar rock duo Drab, and indie rock lads the Dirty Looks. DJ Michael V (the pill/Vanyaland) will spin Boston-flavored sets before, between, and after the bands.

The party is FREE with your RSVP to Do617.com. Last Call, as always, is presented by Budweiser Black Crown.
