Watch the son of Dropkick Murphys’ Ken Casey destroy a Canadiens doll in front of 50,000 Montreal music fans

The Dropkick Murphys played Heavy Montreal music festival yesterday in front of tens of thousands of people, so you knew the bitter, ongoing rivalry between the Canadiens and Boston Bruins was going to come up, somehow, even if it’s mid-August.

Well, it did, and it happened in one pretty awesome display of allegiance to the Black and Gold by the hometown punk band.

At some point during the Dropkicks’ set, Ken Casey’s son Liam walked onto the stage — with encouragement from dad — armed with a Montreal Canadiens toy doll tied to a stick. After Casey fired up the boos by declaring the Dropkicks’ support for the Bruins and stating how his boy absolutely hated the Habs, Kid Liam smashed the doll down on the stage and proceeded to rip its head off.

The headless doll then flopped and drew a two-minute penalty.

Your move, PK Subban.

Word is the Dropkicks got out alive — no one spit water at anyone, no one called 911, n one ticked Max Pacioretty’s spine.
