—-> You Are Here : Boston Calling Music Festival unveils City Hall Plaza ‘site map’

Childish Gambino

With three days to go before Boston Calling returns to City Hall Plaza, festival organizers have today unveiled the location’s site map. Perhaps most notably, the entrance to the fest grounds will remain at Congress Street, where it was situated for May’s event.

The general layout, as well as the placement of the dueling “Capital One 360 Red Stage” and the “JetBlue Stage,” remains relatively unchanged from May as construction continues at the adjoined Government Center’s MBTA station. As we noted back in the spring, that construction wouldn’t have any real impact on the festival (and it didn’t).

The Xfinity Lounge and Hotspot area, located near the food trucks, also seems like a new addition.

Boston Calling kicks off Friday evening with a triple-band bill of Future Islands, Neutral Milk Hotel, and the National, and continues over the weekend with performances by Lorde, Childish Gambino, the Replacements, Nas X the Roots, and more. Check the full set times below.
