Are You Fireproof?: One Direction announce album FOUR, release new single for free download

Fresh off their inclusion in the Guinness Book of World Records for being the first music group to have their first three albums debut at Number 1 on the Billboard charts, One Direction are moving forth.

The UK boy band announced new record FOUR this morning, set for release November 17. The first single off that record, the guitar-pop ballad “Fireproof,” is now available for free download for the next 24 hours.

“We’ve worked incredibly hard writing and recording it whilst we’ve been on the road and we couldn’t have done it without your support,” the band writes in a message to fans “As a special thank you for everything you guys have done for us we wanted to give you ‘Fireproof’ – it’s a track from the album and you can get it for free right now. You’ll be able to download it for free for the next 24 hours. We hope you enjoy it and we can’t wait for you to listen to the album in full. Thank you, you guys mean the world to us.”

One Direction, who were assembled by Simon Cowell in 2010, have sold 46 million records worldwide. Preview “Fireproof” below, if you’re not the downloadin’ type.
