At Night Management has tabled all touring and promotional activities for Avicii, aka Tim Bergling, until further notice so that he can fully recuperate from lingering health issues related to surgeries that removed his gall bladder and appendix earlier this year. The international superstar, who is the #1 Most Influential Artist Under 25 according to Spotify, is taking a break at home in Stockholm so he can regain his strength and physical well-being before the release of a new album project next year.

EDM superstar Avicii caused a health scare in Boston back in June when dozens attending his performance at the TD Garden were hospitalized for dehydration and other effects caused by illegal drugs. Now, the 25-year-old Swede born as Tim Bergling needs medical attention of his own, and Dancing Astronaut is reporting that he will cancel all of his remaining 2014 appearances over growing health concerns.
The report doesn’t say what those issues are, and nothing has been confirmed by Avicii’s management.

News has started to circulate that Avicii will be canceling all of his remaining performances for the foreseeable future due to growing concerns for his health and well-being. This includes his performance at TomorrowWorld this year.
After wrapping up his summer residency at Ibiza’s Ushuaia, the “Wake Me Up” producer will be taking a step back from his incessant touring. In March, a gall bladder issue forced the producer to cancel all of his Miami Music Week gigs and it would appear that this summer’s rigorous schedule provided him little opportunity to fully recover.
Here are the dates Avicii has listed on his homepage. The producer’s last show would have been Halloween in Las Vegas.
