Still Dreaming: Watch Goldbloc perform live at Boca before this weekend’s Boston En Masse

We’ve been pretty sweet on fresh-faced Boston-based electronic group Goldbloc for a while now, but it’s been mainly based off their recorded compositions. We missed their live debut at Good Life in March, then their show with Asher Roth at Brighton Music Hall in April, and then that other gig at that place that one time and that was probably the best one.

So it goes.

But now we’re getting a taste of the unique Goldbloc live experience courtesy of a six-minute clip posted last month from Boca Studios in Cambridge, and it’s a nice primer for a) those still unfamiliar with their trip-hop sound and b) those who, like us, are really looking forward to their set Saturday night at Church.

They’ll take the stage with Color Channel, AVOXBLUE, Miss Geo, St. Nothing, and Pale Hands for the electro-pop edition of Illegally Blind Productions’ Boston En Masse festival, a four-night extravaganza of genre-specific parties. It starts tonight and runs until Sunday, so check the Facebook event page for full line-ups and partnerships.

In the meantime, peep the Goldbloc video below.
