Watch It: Here are the Video of the Year nominees in the 2014 Boston Music Awards

Faces On Film by Michael Basu

In case you missed it on Saturday, the 2014 Boston Music Awards nominations were unveiled live at Sound Of Our Town, a rainy little music festival that officially kicked off the BMAs voting season with real-time results being broadcast right on the Lawn On D’s main stage.

Public voting should open up sometime this week. So between now and either whenever voting ends or the actual Boston Music Awards party December 14 at the Revere Hotel, Vanyaland will dive into a bunch of the categories and see what’s up.

We won’t make any predictions on the winners — especially in the Best Blog category, where we are nominated again — but we will try to see who or what deserves the prize.

And since VIDEO is so hot right now, let’s start with a casual glance at the nominees in Music Video of the Year in the 2014 BMAs.

Here’s the list of nominees:

VIDEO OF THE YEAR
Free Pizza, “Boston MA”
Faces On Film, “The Rule”
Hallelujah The Hills, “I Stand Corrected”
Matthew Connor, “How Is July Already Over?”
STL GLD, “Again”
