Kid A+: Smart people listen to Radiohead, and dumb people like Lil Wayne, says new survey from 2009

Back in 2009, a software application writer named Virgil Griffith organized data determining musical tastes of among college students based on their SAT scores. Five years later, for some reason, his work is exploding across the internet with a basic message: Radiohead is for wicked smart kids, while Beyoncé and Lil Wayne are for dummies.

Other bands and artists preferred by intelligent people include Sufjan Stevens, Counting Crows, and Boston’s very own Guster.
