So, Northeastern’s radio station has been playing Oasis ‘Don’t Look Back In Anger’ on a loop for hours

We’re not really sure WTF is going on here, but apparently Northeastern University’s radio station, Radio Back Bay WRBB 104.9 FM in Boston, has been playing Oasis‘ “Don’t Look Back In Anger” on a loop for the past few hours.

It’s Friday, so you can do whatever you like with this information.

UPDATE 2:14 p.m.: The WRBB site appears to be down, so listen in via TuneIn. It’s pretty awesome (if you like “Don’t Look Back In Anger”).

Drunken Logic, who played our CMJ party with Berklee College of Music back in October, tipped us off to this via Twitter.

Is this a protest? A glitch in the system? Or just some good old fashioned love for Oasis?

We may never know, so let’s just enjoy the ride.

Those outside the Northeastern zone can listen in through TuneIn.

UPDATE 2:24 p.m.: Some have speculated that with finals over and most students headed home, this could continue indefinitely. Someone either forgot to unclick the “repeat button on iTunes or is trolling everyone with an early Christmas present. Here’s some incredible fallout from today’s Oasis marathon so far…

UPDATE 2:27 p.m.: WRBB has spoken (but has yet to play something else)…

Don’t we all, don’t we all…

UPDATE 2:33 p.m.: Suddenly, without warning, “Wonderwall” comes on, then it’s back to “Don’t Look Back In Anger.” LOL.
