Something Wicked Coming: Jittery Jack closes out the year with one Rockin’ Holiday

There’s a whole network of people around Boston who are pretty much at every one of your shows. They’re the booking agents, bartenders, and venue managers, and every now and again they take a timeout from making our area’s rock clubs what they are to do a bit of rocking out themselves. Kevin Patey might be known around Cambridge as venue manager of T.T. The Bear’s Place, but the singer-guitarist spent a good deal out-of-town and in exotic places like Vegas, Europe and Sturbridge this past year showing off his sweet sounds as rockabilly maven Jittery Jack.

Over the summer Jittery Jack dropped a visually appealing video for the 45 single “Something Wicked This Way Comes” (directed by Mike Gill of CircumVision), and this Saturday he closes out the year in grand fashion at the Rocking Holiday Celebration at Atwood’s Tavern in Cambridge. It’s presented by WMFO’s DJ Easy Ed and also stars Montreal’s Bloodshot Bill, who knows a thing or two about a good time. Jittery Jack’s set will also welcome Raging Teen and longtime Patey co-conspirator Miss Amy for a few spins around the guitar, as well.

Check out the “Something Wicked This Way Comes” video below — Patey warns us to “never trust a woman who comes from the sea!” — and scan the show deets after the moving pictures.
