Wait For The Ball Drop: Diplo and Skrillex’s NYE party in NYC will be live streamed

If the party you hit up on New Year’s Eve turns out to be terrible, Diplo and Skrillex will only be a click away.

The newly-minted Jack Ü duo — which just dropped a new remix of Beyoncé’s “7/11,” which you can hear below — will hold court at Madison Square Garden in New York City, and the party will be live broadcast both by Live Nation’s channel on Yahoo Screens and Sirius XM’s BPM station.

Tickets, relatively reasonably priced between $50 and $150, are still available for the producers’ MSG mega-event. The past few years have seen the NYC arena house New Year’s Eve shows by Phish, but the jam-band has taken their crunchy talents to Miami for this year’s festivities. Among the openers for Jack Ü’s now-global dance party are UK breakout act Rudimental, New York rapper ASAP Ferg, and Dutch DJ trio Yellowclaw.

Word is the New Year’s Eve performances will also be re-broadcast the next day, when we’re all in bed watching television, ordering takeout, and marveling about Diplo headlining “the world’s most famous arena.”

Check out that Beyoncé remix and a clip from Jack Ü’s live set at Ultra Music Festival in Miami earlier this year, below.
