Oscar Nicely: Here are the Best Original Song nominations in the 2015 Academy Awards

The nominees in the 87th annual Academy Awards were revealed this morning, and after scanning the list to see if Taken 3 was up for anything (spoiler alert: apparently not) we quickly turned our attention to Best Original Song.

This year’s category has some star power, and the lot includes “Everything is Awesome,” Tegan & Sara and The Lonely Island’s theme from the Lego Movie, as well as Adam Levine (“Lost Stars” from Begin Again) and John Legend and Common’s “Glory,” the song from Selma which just took home a Golden Globe.

In case you haven’t gone to the movie theaters — or on social media — much in the past year, check out clips of each nominated song below. The 2015 gala is set for February 22 at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, California, with hosting duties provided by Neil Patrick Harris.
