Last week Mötley Crüe bassist Nikki Sixx tweeted out that he was so sure of the outcome in yesterday’s Super Bowl XLIX, he’d perform a song naked on stage if his beloved Seattle Seahawks lost.
Final result: New England Patriots 28, Seattle Seahawks 24.
Time for Sixx to show some Dixx. Or at least an ass cheek.
Our buds over at Do617 have the perfect solution for this wager, and that’s for Sixx to fulfill his side of the bet on August 15, when Mötley Crüe play the DCU Center in Worcester. It’ll be summer, it’ll be warm, and his ill feelings over Pete Carroll’s play-calling should be long gone by then.
And yeah yeah, we hear everyone saying “Who wants to see the 56-year-old’s schlong hanging out up there on stage?” But a bet’s a bet, and if the Crüe are coming to town, no better place to pay up than right here in New England in front of a few thousand screaming Patriots fans. Seahawks fans have been through enough already.
Here’s the original tweet, for the record:
No way on earth the Pats can beat @Seahawks.If they do I’ll play a song naked onstage and you don’t wanna see that…. #GoHawks

To Sixx’s credit, he seems willing to pay up.
Last night he posted the following, and that hashtag suggests he knows what’s coming. Let’s just hope it’s in the land of Patriots…
What a great game @Seahawks.We had it in the bag.Should of run that last play. NEXT YEAR….. #GoHawks #GetNaked

#Get Naked? His Crüe bandmate knows a thing about that…
