For The Patriots: Watch Jimmy Fallon and friends sing ‘We Are The Champions’ by Queen

It’s a very strange morning around New England, where hangovers from Maine to Cape Cod are met head on with a snow day sent from the frigid heavens and another Super Bowl championship for our beloved Patriots gift-wrapped by Tom Brady and Bill Belichick (with an assist from Pete Carroll’s play book). As we slowly emerge from our beds, floors, and friend’s couches with another foot of snow falling around us, let the sweet sounds of Queen’s “We Are The Champions” run through your heads.

Last night, Jimmy Fallon unveiled an a cappella version of the celebratory anthem with a little help from his Tonight Show band the Roots and a host of singers — Carrie Underwood, Sam Smith, Ariana Grande, Blake Shelton, Usher, Meghan Trainor, One Direction, and Christina Aguilera.

Now, we know this was a neutral cause, and would have still applied if, say, the Seahawks’ Marshawn Lynch barreled into the end zone last night with :20 on the clock. Not saying Brady would have positioned the Pats back to midfield and a chance to tie the game in the final few seconds, but hey, the result may have looked a bit different and this video would still exist.

But in the end, the Patriots won, and those square in the video below look a bit like the ones on the Brady Bunch — so chalk it up to fate.
