Fancy Feast: Watch Catfish & the Bottlemen mash up Kanye West, the Black Keys, and Kasabian

Young Welsh quartet Catfish & the Bottlemen are helping to restore guitars back into the UK’s music scene, and earlier today dropped by the BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge to put those sonic weapons to good use.

In addition to playing their breakout single “Kathleen,” which we’re not even sick of yet over at VanyaRadio, the lads whipped up a triple-tasty medley of Kanye West’s “Black Skinhead,” Kasabian’s “Shoot The Runner,” and “Howlin’ For You” by the Black Keys. And it was all for Fearne Cotton in the Live Lounge.

Shit sounded pretty seamless, and you can relive the magic on domestic shores via the video below.

And in case you missed it, Catfish & the Bottlemen are playing a very-sold out show at Great Scott in Allston on March 5. If Trash Talk weren’t already booked to play the Sinclair, we’d guess the show would have been moved to a bigger room by now. Royale, perhaps?
