Listen Up: Here are the 24 bands playing the 2015 Rock And Roll Rumble [updated]

Don’t look now, but it’s Rock And Roll Rumble season.

One of the surest signs of springtime in New England is upon us, and tonight on 100.7 WZLX’s Boston Emissions, show host and Rumble organizer Anngelle Wood unveiled the 24 bands set to throw down next month in the 2015 Rock And Roll Rumble.

Sure, it seems like only yesterday when Goddamn Draculas tore up T.T. The Bear’s Place in Cambridge in booze-driven blitzkrieg of rock and roll, undeniable friendship, and ultimate victory, but now the time has come to crown a new champion — and the latest in the competitive rock and roll music festival’s 36-year history.

As you listen to the bands below (updated tonight as each act is announced), take note of some dates: the preliminary round runs from April 12 to 14 and 16 to 18, with the two semi-final nights set for April 23 and 24 and the grand finale locked in on May 1.

May Day, indeed.

Individual show lineups will be revealed on next week’s Boston Emissions; nightly tickets and full boat Rumble tickets go on sale via ttthebears.com and TicketWeb starting Monday at noon.
