Twisted Melons: Happy Mondays announce 25th anniversary Pills ‘n’ Thrills and Bellyaches tour

With the Bluetones’ announcement of a 20th anniversary tour and now the Happy Mondays’ announcement of a tour celebrating the 25th anniversary of Pills ‘n’ Thrills and Bellyaches, this Tuesday in mid-April is like Christmas morning for the British indie faithful. But instead of presents under the tree we get a bunch of twisted melons, man.

After teasing a new tour a few weeks ago, the Madchester legends made an official announcement today, hitting the road for an 18-date UK and Ireland tour that kicks off November 5 in Southampton and concludes December 10 in Dublin, Ireland. Maybe we’ll get some North American shows in early 2016, but with the Mondays, who knows.

But if you’re on the right side of the Atlantic and you want to hear Pills ‘n’ Thrills and Bellyaches performed live in its entirety, make sure to get your tickets when the pre-sale begins on April 15 on seetickets.com.

Here’s the full run of shows:
