One Boston Day: Fire, police, EMS, and hospital personnel added to Elvis Perkins’ guest list

Today around Boston, we solemnly mark the two-year anniversary of the Marathon bombings that took the lives of four people and injured more than 200. Mayor Martin J. Walsh has declared today One Boston Day: “This day will be a celebration of the resiliency, generosity, and strength of the people that make Boston the great city it is.”

One of those acts of generosity this morning came from Live Nation New England and Crossroads Presents, the booking agency of venues like the House of Blues, Paradise Rock Club, Brighton Music Hall, and others around the city. Tonight, all of Boston’s fire, police, EMS, and hospital personnel have been added to the guest list for folk singer Elvis Perkins’ show at Brighton Music Hall in Allston.

From Live Nation New England:

We would like to invite Boston’s Fire/Police/EMS and local Boston hospital personnel and their guests to join us for the Elvis Perkins concert at Brighton Music Hall on Wednesday, April 15th* in celebration of ‪#‎OneBostonDay‬.

Show your official badge or employment identification for access.

*Subject to availability. Limited to two tickets per badge/employee ID.

That’s a good look. Perkins’ new album, I Aubade, is out now via INGROOVES.
