Two Gallants’ tour van broken into in Philly; duo lists gear that was stolen

Earlier in the week we caught up with Adam Stephens of Two Gallants in advance of the duo’s show at Brighton Music Hall, and he was in good sports, discussing his band’s hometown of San Francisco and a host of other topics. That mood has surely soured since then, as yesterday Two Gallants revealed their tour van had been broken into while at a tour stop in Philadelphia.

They relayed the news via a post on Facebook:

PHILADELPHIA… OUR VAN WITH YEARS OF SPECIFIED GEAR, ALL BUILT WITH HEART, SWEAT AND DEDICATION, WAS BROKEN INTO LAST NIGHT AND THE MAJORITY OF IT STOLEN…PLEASE HELP…

Today, Stephens and bandmate Tyson Vogel described the gear that was jacked from their van, and it’s a pretty lengthy list. Read their post below. Tonight’s show at the Rock & Roll Hotel in Washington, DC, will go on as planned, presumably with borrowed gear and some pieces that were not taken by the shitbag criminals.

Hey everyone. Despite yesterday being extremely lame, we can’t really express how grateful we are for the response we’ve received from people trying to help us out. Some of the gear we lost is irreplaceable but fortunately a few of the more vital instruments weren’t taken so the show can and will go on. Some folks have asked for a list of everything that was stolen to keep their eyes out. Here it is below. Thanks for any help you can offer and thank you all so much for your support and concern.
