Earlier this week, Noel Gallagher made headlines by tearing Zayn Malik a new asshole for leaving One Direction and wanting to be a normal 22-year-old.
“Have you met any normal 22-year-olds?” Gallagher asked Rolling Stone. “They’re fuckin’ shit-for-brains. What are you talking about, you fuckin’ idiot?”
Well, in a move either not really surprising or totally surprising, younger brother Liam Gallagher has come to the defense of One Direction. This is how deep the brotherly rivalry goes these days as we await that inevitable Oasis reunion: Liam’s aligning with boy bands just to give his brother shit.

He also gave Noel some grief for having a saxophone on his record, apparently. Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds will play Boston’s Opera House on June 6.
