With some slight cooperation from Mother Nature, Porchfest kicked off a few moments ago across several Somerville home fronts. The idea is simple, and has gained huge traction over the past few years: DIY performances set up on porches around the city, creating a walkable mini-festival that’s all-encompassing and spans all genres.
But with a few hundred performances set for today and running until sundown, it’s hard to keep track. So here’s a handy schedule of everyone taking part, courtesy of the Somerville Arts Council. There’s still time to catch Bong Wish at the Somerville Whole Foods, so don’t stress it. There’s also a rad all-day party at Cuisine En Locale in case the sky opens up and starts to rain.
