Editor’s Note: The third and final day of Boston Calling’s Spring 2015 music festival opened and closed with some proper hometown flair. Local folk-rock trio the Ballroom Thieves kicked off the Sunday session, the Pixies presided over a home field as inviting as Fenway Park, and in between were a series of breakthrough performances, including future-star turns from Jason Isbell, ILoveMakonnen, and the heavily-tweeted Halsey. For the third straight date, Vanyaland’s Eddy Leiva was in the center of it all.
