Packed House: Here are the 34 bands playing this year’s massive three-day Boston Fuzzstival

And then there were 34.

As we reported a few weeks ago, this year’s Fuzzstival will be the biggest in its three-year history, bringing more than 30 bands, both from Boston’s scene and beyond, to the Middle East in Cambridge over three days this summer. The 2015 Fuzzstival goes down August 6, 7, and 8, utilizing both rooms of the Central Square rock club, with two shows in the Upstairs and one in the Downstairs.

When the Fuzzstival launched in 2013, it was a celebration of all things psych, garage, and noise-pop.

Now, with 34 bands in tow, it’s grown to something much bigger, and should be one of the best showcases of musical talent on display this summer. Among the new additions to the lineup are Quilt, the Migs, and Worcester’s Secret Lover.

“The goal of Boston Fuzzstival is to highlight the best bands in the region that make psychedelic/fuzz/garage/surf rock and to build bridges within the local music community,” said Fuzzstival curator Jason Trefts, of the Middle East and Illegally Blind Productions, back in April.

Here’s the full lineup.
