Suddenly, there is a new entry in the Great ’90s Alt-Rock Reunion Tour sweepstakes, and the winners are five cities on the eastern part of the country.
Beloved veteran noise-slingers Hum and Failure both announced separate tours today, with a sweet spot of five dates where the bands will link up to perform under the same roof. Those dates include an August 15 date at Royale in Boston, as well as shows in Charlotte, Washington DC, New York, and Philadelphia.
Tickets to the Boston date go on sale Friday at noon.
Another reunited band, Austin emo crew Mineral, will play a handful of West Coast dates with Hum. Check out the full run of shows below, as well as a sweet poster and some classic tracks from both Hum and Failure. The latter will release new album The Heart Is a Monster on June 30 via INgrooves Music Group’s INresidence division.
