If You ‘Learn’ It, Grohl Will Come: Foo Fighters to play Italy after 1,000-person cover

Yesterday news circulated about a group of 1,000 zany Italians who all got together to play Foo Fighters’ “Learn To Fly”. It was all part of a master plan to get Dave Grohl and his band to come to the Italian city of Cesena, and quite unsurprisingly, it worked.

“Ci vediamo a presto, Cesena,” Foo tweeted shortly after the video went viral, crashing most major music and A&E news outlets. That translates, roughly, into “See you soon.” Another tweet offers up, in Italian: “How lovely.”

The Foo have a busy upcoming schedule, as their North American tour picks up August 12 in Edmonton and wraps October 2 at Austin City Limits, but no doubt Grohl will find time to have a massive jam session with all who participated in the cool stunt.
