Back in January, Nikki Sixx was so confident that his Seattle Seahawks would beat our New England Patriots in Super Bowl XLIX, he promised to play naked if Pete Carroll’s team lost.
“No way on earth the Pats can beat @Seahawks,” he tweeted on January 27. “If they do I’ll play a song naked onstage and you don’t wanna see that… #GoHawks”
The game’s final score: New England Patriots 28, Seattle Seahawks 24. And who could forget Malcolm Butler’s game-saving interception?
Well, we’re pretty sure Sixx has yet to publicly play naked to fulfill his end of the bet, but with Mötley Crüe coming to the DCU Center in Worcester Saturday night, many around New England think this is the perfect time for the bassist settle his losing wager.
We even asked him a few days ago, but never heard back. Maybe a surprise is in store?
