A kick-ass garage rock band from Providence that’s been making waves while bringing the party every time they play live, Atlantic Thrills today released a new 7-inch single, “Bed Bugs,” off Brooklyn based label Almost Ready Records. Continuing a week of good news, the three-minute garage rock track was premiered on Vice affiliate Noisey yesterday, and Thursday the quartet embark on a tour that kicks off in York, Pennsylvania, with New Hampshire rock and rollers Notches.
They’ll also be making a couple stops in Brooklyn at Hank’s Saloon on August 28 with The Bamboo Kids, Party Lights, and The Thigh Highs, and play a show at Shea Stadium on September 4 with ONWE, The Britanys, and Cosmonaut. Sandwiched in between will be a homecoming bash in Providence at Aurora on August 29 with Attleboro surf punk darlings Neutrinos, guitar-pop trio Eric & The No No’s, and Boston glam punks the Monsieurs.
